This handcrafted, fermented cheese alternative is aged for 5–8 weeks in the cool chambers of a small Spanish manufactory. Its base of regionally sourced lupins and fair-trade cashews is refined with a unique ingredient from northern Spain: a vegan chorizo-style blend made from pumpkin, onion, garlic, and olive oil. The result is a rich, savory flavor that pairs perfectly with antipasti, vegetables, or – our personal favorite – warm, toasted bread.

Completely plant-based, this semi-cured alternative is free from gluten, lactose, and cholesterol, yet provides high-quality proteins, essential fatty acids (Omega-3, -6, and -9), and natural probiotics that support a healthy gut. Poppy seeds add valuable minerals such as zinc, iron, magnesium, and calcium, as well as fiber for healthy digestion.

For best results, store between 2–10 °C. We recommend keeping it uncovered (in its open packaging) so it can “breathe” and continue to mature naturally – enhancing its depth of flavor. Remove from the fridge about 5 minutes before serving to allow the aromas to fully unfold.

Note: This product is not cheese made from cow’s or other animal milk, but a 100 % vegan, plant-based alternative with its own distinct texture and character.
