This zine by CrimethInc. is an examination of the role that alcohol plays anarchist spaces. It features a critique that looks at how alcohol use (and abuse) within the anarchist space fosters apathy, connects with patriarchy, and blunts revolutionary efforts. Anarchy & Alcohol argues that drugs are used, and perhaps even marketed as an "easy" escape from capitalism and they discourage us from doing the work necessary to actually free ourselves. An interesting radical perspective on the drug-free lifestyle. A second essay looks at the role that alcohol and intoxication has played in the creation of civilization.
