The Animal Liberation Front (ALF) is an international, leaderless, decentralized movement of animal liberation activists. Its goal is overcoming animal exploitation and the liberation of non-human animals from oppression. The ALF is a non-hierarchical movement without formal memberships. It consists of autonomous groups or individuals. Everyone can be (part of) the ALF, if they adhere to the following principles and goals:

to liberate animals from places of abuse, i.e. laboratories, factory farms, fur farms etc., and place them in good homes where they may live out their natural lives, free from suffering
to reveal the horror and atrocities committed against animals behind locked doors, by performing nonviolent direct actions and liberations
