Motif size approx. 18 cm. The motif is also available as a slightly larger print here.
Every day in Germany alone, over 82,000 pigs are "stunned" with CO₂ before slaughter – a method that causes panic, pain, and unimaginable suffering. ARIWA activists documented this at a slaughterhouse in Lohne and brought the gruesome reality to light.
Their courageous efforts have consequences: The slaughterhouse operator has filed a criminal complaint. To cover the legal costs in solidarity and further draw attention to this issue, we have developed a solidarity motif together with the activists and designer Kerstin Brüller.
The motif is now available on fair trade shirts, knitted hats, and tote bags (all made from organically grown cotton), as well as on posters and stickers. You can also get all these beautiful items in a discounted package. Every purchase supports activists in raising awareness of animal suffering and exposing the practices of the animal industry.
This fair trade shirt is made from combed, ring-spun organic cotton, making it softer and more durable than shirts made from conventional cotton. The high-quality screen print, using vegan, mineral oil-free inks, is applied by our homies from the Onbones collective in Münster and is particularly durable. (Please wash inside out, though!)
Note: This shirt is not currently available - your order is a pre-order. We will be collecting reservations until May 21st and will start printing after that. There will likely be only a single edition of this shirt.

production info:
The clothing is part of the Stanley&Stella collection and was produced in eco-friendly factories. The energy used by the factories comes from renewable sources. The cotton is 100 % organic and was manufactured under fair conditions. The farmers don't only grow cotton but also food plants. So they do not only depend on the cotton market.
The clothes are shipped by land or sea. Apart from the ecological quality, Stanley&Stella's factories were also certified by the Fair Wear Foundation. The farmers carry a fair wage and receive premiums.
