Whenever capitalism enters a crisis of legitimacy – after all, the exploitation of people, other animals, and nature for the profit of a privileged few is difficult to justify – history shows a rise in fascist tendencies. This development is currently impossible to overlook in Germany, too.
The AfD is far ahead in the polls, but the coalition of the CDU/CSU and SPD is also working hard to dismantle the welfare state. Those who fail to conform to the neoliberal dogma of performance and able-bodiedness lose rights and resources. At the same time, regressive energy policies, restrictions on civil liberties, and massive rearmament are being pushed forward. Studies show just how widespread nationalist and far-right attitudes have become by now – including among young people.
An anti-fascist design on a piece of clothing alone won’t change any of this. But the subtle message at least shows that not everyone agrees with this course. Those of us fighting for a society based on solidarity and respect are many. And now is the time to connect and build networks – while it is still possible.
The T-shirt is produced in a climate-conscious way and under fair working conditions, which are regularly independently audited. The cotton used is 100 % certified organic. The durable screen print is then made using vegan inks by our friends at the Onbones Kollektiv here in Münster.

The clothing is part of the Stanley&Stella collection and was produced in eco-friendly factories. The energy used by the factories comes from renewable sources. The cotton is 100 % organic and was manufactured under fair conditions. The farmers don't only grow cotton but also food plants. So they do not only depend on the cotton market.
The clothes are shipped by land or sea. Apart from the ecological quality, Stanley&Stella's factories were also certified by the Fair Wear Foundation. The farmers carry a fair wage and receive premiums.
