The CDU/CSU union has never been a progressive party, but always a rather reactionary bunch of lobbying conservatives.
For decades, it has stood for regression, lobbying and climate-damaging decisions. It has blocked the expansion of renewable energies in favor of the coal lobby and cut public transport in favor of the car industry.

At the same time, CDU/CSU politicians regularly fuel resentment towards migrants and racialized people and spread right-wing populist statements.
Even in current political events, hardly a day goes by without some egomaniac from the so-called “Christian Democrats” babbling some inhumane, right-wing populist nonsense into a microphone. So it was high time for an anti CDU sticker.
