VEGDOG Senioris a 100% vegetable, and needs-based complete diet without corn and soy. It is optimally adapted to the needs of older dogs from 7 years who have a decreased energy and increased nutritional demands due to their advanced age. Also, overweight dogs can benefit from this food. The products are locally grown (Germany and Austria).
Pea and lupine have an optimal amino acid profile for dogs and are therefore excellent sources of protein for our four-legged friends. Other important nutrients deliver ingredients such as potatoes, lentils, millet, carrots and zucchini . These ingredients are particularly easy to digest and thus ideal for older dogs. In addition, older dogs benefit from the many positive qualities of the chia seeds . The small miracle seeds can improve among other things the ability to concentrate our four-legged seniors. Yeast provides important enzymes and vitamin B12. That used valuable algae(Origin EU) provide the essential fatty acids EPA and DHA (omega-3 and 6 fatty acids) prepared the anti-inflammatory effect and are important for healthy cell function. The anti-inflammatory effect can be very beneficial for seniors and their little everyday ailments. Is added to the VEGDOG SENIOR No1 still a mineral powder , which ensures the required 100% coverage of the feed.

VEGDOG Senior is not suitable for puppies and lactating dogs.

Change of diet: Please ensure that the you change the diet slowly in the course of two weeks. Reduce the old food gradually and substitute it with new food.

How much your dog might want to eat (according to the producer) - dependant on the dog's weight:
5 kg: 280-350 g
10 kg: 470-580 g
20 kg: 780-980 g
30 kg: 1050-1350 g

50 kg: 1600-1900 g
60 kg: 1900-2200 g

Anyway, there are many other factors like age, activity, size, season and appetite which influence the dose of food dogs might need.

Please store in a dry place and protect from heat. Store in the fridge after opening, use within 2-3 days.

Please note: If you order animal food from outside the European Union please check the customs regulations for your country. If it's possible for you to import vegan animal food please tell us if certain documents are needed which we could try to provide.
Otherwise it's possible that the customs office rejects the package and we can only compensate for the value of goods (and not for shipping costs - you'd also have to pay for the charges we have to pay for the return of goods). For example, you need a permit to import plant-based animal food to Australia. It's just no fun when the customs destroy your order, or send it back ... :(
