This vegan toothpaste combines daily dental care with an additional source of vitamin B12. Through absorption via the oral mucosa, vitamin B12 can be supplemented while brushing your teeth.

An adequate supply of vitamin B12 is particularly important for people following a vegan or vegetarian diet, as well as for older people, pregnant and breastfeeding people, and those with certain gastrointestinal conditions. Long-term vitamin B12 deficiency can have serious health consequences, including anemia, neurological disorders, persistent fatigue, memory problems, or dementia. Targeted supplementation can help prevent a deficiency and support normal bodily functions.

By the way, 8 years ago we decided to remove SANTÉ’s B12 toothpaste from our range because the manufacturer, LOGOCOS, was acquired by L’Oréal at the time. L’Oréal at least accepts animal testing, and we wanted to prevent the sale of the product from indirectly supporting animal testing. L’Oréal has now sold LOGOCOS again – to an investment company that is also active in global financial markets and is not necessarily a company we would support as such, but which, according to our information, at least invests in companies that manufacture components and medical equipment and do not commission animal testing. We have therefore decided to add SANTÉ’s B12 toothpaste back to our range. We’re happy to be able to offer it again after such a long time.

Note: Not suitable for children under 6 years of age.
