Milk is baby food for all mammals. It provides the offspring with all the important nutrients until they can digest solid food. Cows only give milk if a calf has been born. The cow's milk in the fridge, in cheese or in yoghurt is breast milk that was actually intended for a calf. Cows live between 20-30 years in a natural environment.
