Maple Pecan Nougat: Delicious pieces of nougat topped by a gorgeous pecan. This fantastic praline was winner of silver at the Academy of chocolate 2019
Matcha cashew: Aiya white cashew nougat on bright green (but mega tasty!) Matcha marzipan with finest green tea. This chocolate won silver at the Academy of Chocolate in 2018 in London.
Nougat Arriba Nacional: The chocolate contains as much fine cocoa and hazelnut as possible. The cocoa comes from Seversal in Ecuador, from Mashpi. And this cocoa might be responsible for the wonderful taste of this praline. ICA silver winner 2017
The boxes are produced by Suesse Schachtel in Germany. The paper comes from Germany, too! Fair Paper, Fair wages and short shipping routes - no plastic.
These confectionaries are not fair trade certified. Here is The Amber Room's statement about that:
"Our company is not fair trade-certified for financial and organizational reasons, but many of our suppliers. Where we pay special in critical raw materials, from the so-called third world, did they come from fair trade."
That's the perfect spot to add some infos about the ingredients they use: the "Chocolate" comes from the EcoFinia GmbH, which produces for Vivani and iChoc, for example. The raw cane sugar and fine flavored cocoa they get from Naturata/Rapunzel and natural fruit oils from Leckers. Many of the spices they use are from "Sonnentor", the dried fruit and nuts mostly from Schmütz Naturkost or Rapunzel. (Stand 11/2018)
