The backpack is from the MELAWEAR collection. MELAWEAR says about their materials and production conditions: "All our products and collections are closed 100 percent certified by the Fairtrade Cotton Standard. Annual checks by FLO CERT guarantee compliance with the criteria of the standard. They include, among other things, a fixed 'Purchase price for organic cotton and highest social and Environmental standards during cultivation. In addition, the farmers Cooperatives a Fairtrade Premium, which for Community projects such as schools or the local infrastructure is used.
