The Vitamin B12 toothpaste from SANTE is an easy way to increase your B12 level. It also protects and treats your teeth and gums with a dentally tested complex of natrium fluoride, xylitol and organic sage. The combination of natrium fluoride and vitamin B12 guards from gum inflammation and protects from the evil little bacteria that causes tooth decay. The toothpaste contains peppermint oil which tastes nice and makes your breath smell nice!

B12 definciency is a common problem of vegans and vegetarians and B12 supplemenation is recommended. The B12 in the toothpaste is absorbed through the mouth mucosa and regular use reduces a B12 deficiency and increases your B12-level. A study by the Institute for Clinical Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Magdeburg showed a 60% increase of levels after four weeks of use. Brushing twice a day can result in the absorption of the recommended dose of 300 micrograms per day.

Due to the B12 content, the toothpaste has a slightly red color. In clinical tests no tooth discoloration was observed..
