Compassion media is a grassroots media collective, owned and operated by the roots of compassion collective with the aim to produce independent media with the intention: a) to inform people of the ongoing oppressive, abusive and exploitative mechanisms and structures against humans, other species and ecosystems. b) to document ongoing struggles, subcultures and important developments that are striving to accomplish change for a world free from sexism, racism, speciesism and other forms of oppression. c) to give artists and activists a platform to spread their ideas, music and other creative critical output, that is questioning the current existing social order, values and opinion. |

Animal Liberation – History in the Making
This DVD documents the actions of the Animal Liberation Movement worldwide. From the classic scenes of the first A.L.F. raids on British laboratories and factory farms, to the legendary voyages of the sea shepherd fleet, ramming ships on the high sea to shut down illegal whaling and sealing operations, to the E.L.F., dedicated to taking the profit motive out of environmental destruction by causing economic damage to businesses, to activists of the A.L.F. using non-violent direct action in the defence of non-human life.
