the roots of compassion manifesto (party programme)

roots of compassion is a non-profit* collective, owned and operated by a group of dedicated activists.

our aim is to inform people of the ongoing oppressive, abusive and exploitative mechanisms and structures against human animals, non-numan animals and ecosystems.

our work is mainly based on the human-animal relationship, but as well on issues such as sexism, racism, capitalism and hierarchy in general. we seek to encourage persons to actively question the existing social order to establish a more compassionate and sustainable world for all beings.

we are commited to promote a hierarchy-free, drugfree, ecologically sustainable, vegan lifestyle.

we try to achieve this by

  1. independent production and distribution of products that carry a message or ideas to inform other.
  2. establishing a platform and network for activists worldwide through our website.
  3. providing a wide resource of information containing articles, interviews, guides, etc on our website.
  4. being present at public events, such as concerts, festivals, demonstrations, congresses, etc

we work with a consensus based descision making model, which means there is no boss - all 'agents' are involved in the descision making process.

* although we do not operate to generate profit, we still need to generate revenue in order to finance our activities (e.g. office rent, phone bills, new projects, products, workforce etc).
